Finally, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things. OUR CONSOLATION


CONSOLATION:
Comfort...sympathy...solace...compassion..pity...


relief...help...support...encouragement...reassurance...



Herein is our Lord our everlasting consolation...our hope through grace...our unspeakable joy and confidence by faith in His gentle grace...the easiness of His yolk upon us...and the lightness of His burden...



As we flee to Christ for refuge to lay hold upon hope...he becomes our strong consolation...our anchor for the soul...it is both sure and steadfast...because of our High Priest Jesus, who has gone beyond the veil before us and intercedes in our behalf...



This same Jesus who patiently endured all the same sorrows as we ourselves...until he obtained the Promise...


And now are we heirs of that Promise (true believers) a way to the end of all strife...


Do you have faith?...Then have it in your receiving of it, your believing of it, your praise of it...for He is Faith...that Word that is settled in you, that confidence, and REST...from legalism and strife...


You are the workmanship of His hands...come to Him in the order to which he has appointed and drawn you forth...He is working in you to will and do His good pleasure...you are not the product of man...


Let your happiness be in not being accused or condemned...for your doubts will only condemn you and destroy faith in God's Word...


Whatever is not of Faith...is sin...


Think on this...


To this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord both of the dead and the living...


Accuse not your brother...judge him not...walk in the Light...for you both will stand before the judgment seat of God...Every knee will bow, and every tongue confess to God...


Each of us will give an account...


Rather...love...forgive...and leave the accusing spirit before the Throne...you be the consolation by God's Spirit, that He is to you...


Freely He has given...freely give...


He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds...

Only God knows what forces have come against this soul

burdened down with care...


Sometimes a root of bitterness...revenge...hate...and unforgiveness has broken the heart, mind and spirit to the point where, only the KNOWLEDGE of HIM will heal...


That is the Gift of all Gifts to us...


Holy Spirit...Reveal Christ...that we might live in the Power of His Consolation...the Power of His Redeeming Love.



"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and comfort (consolation) who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." Corinthians 1: 3-4
