Finally, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things. COMMITING YOUR WAYS UNTO THE LORD



Lord, I can't thank you enough for the faithfulness of Your Word...for Your keeping power, for Your guidance through the Narrow Way of this Life, as we follow You, Blessed Shepherd of the Flock.


Yesterday, we were to sign the final papers on a home....we had been praying that You, Lord, would have your perfect will in this decision...to open and/or close all doors....and right down to the wire...it fell through, because of hidden structural problems and damage that only the final inspection revealed...it would have cost thousands of dollars of repair, had we bought the home....and we nearly decided to pass by without the inspection...


Thank you Holy Spirit for Your moving upon our hearts and minds to do this inspection....


We are finding that in these last days....the Lord is training us to wait upon Him, right down to the wire. There are things we may not see, discern, or know about a decision we are making....and sometimes logic and trust can be betrayed for many reasons that only the Lord may know....Praise you Lord, that You go before us, that you lead us from behind, that you speak a Word in our ear..."go hear, or go there, stop!...wait....rest...by Your rod and staff you lead us in all faithfulness and keeping...


I'm trusting less and less in my own abilities to see, hear, and know...and desire with all my heart to have His mind, His wisdom, His knowing...and moving at the sound of His Voice in all faith, confidence, and obedience....


I commit my way to Yours Lord...lead me through the Narrow Way...
